For fences less than 1800mm in height, your pool fence needs to be a minimum of 1200mm, measured vertically, from the finished ground level to the top of the fencing.
If your pool fence is constructed with upright palings spaced no more than 10mm apart and horizontal palings spaced less than 900mm, works need to be undertaken to ensure the horizontal palings are considered non-climbable.
A 60° fillet can be installed on the top rail so that this is now considered a non-climbable surface.
